AI access and MCP: coming soon
AI access is coming soon. We're preparing a Model Context Protocol (MCP) service so compatible AI assistants can work with Peanut Shopper's grocery data. Coming soon; launch timing to be confirmed.
What MCP will do
Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a way for compatible AI assistants to work with external tools and data sources. We're preparing a Peanut Shopper service for grocery data. Public endpoints, tools, authentication, supported clients and usage limits will be documented only after they are confirmed for launch. There is no public connection flow announced here.
Useful public information today
The website can help people find supported grocery stores, inspect available flyers and compare observed soda listings. Use the public links below for product and data context. The llms.txt file is a discovery index for this documentation; it does not grant access to data or tools.
Keep the data context
When using information from the public site, retain the source, store or location, observation date and promotion validity period where those fields are available. Distinguish a catalog listing from an inventory observation and from a circular offer. Do not infer missing timestamps or turn an old offer into a claim about current stock.
Different data, different meanings
Catalog listings describe stores and products. Partial inventory observations describe what a source reported at a particular time; they do not guarantee stock on a shelf. Circular promotions apply only to their stated stores, dates and conditions. Verify prices, offer terms and availability with the retailer.
Commercial availability
Planned retail-data services have no announced pricing, subscriptions or sales terms. MCP availability will be confirmed at launch, and will not be inferred from the target date.
